IMPORTANT Actions and Considerations

UPGRADE TO ORACLE CLOUD INFRASTRUCTURE IDENTITY AND ACCESS MANAGEMENT

As part of Oracle's efforts to enhance the technology and capabilities for Fusion Applications, Identity and Access Management (IAM) for your Fusion environments will be upgraded to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Identity and Access Management (OCI Identity and Access Management) in the coming months, if the environment isn't already on it.

The new OCI Identity and Access Management experience in Oracle Cloud Console provides enhanced capabilities for managing sign-on policy, single sign-on (SSO), and multi-factor authentication (MFA). All existing user attributes (user names, emails, login credentials, Federated SSO configuration) will be migrated during the upgrade, allowing you to leverage OCI Identity and Access Management capabilities.

For more information regarding this change, refer to Identity Upgrade Overview.

DEPRECATION OF ORACLE DIGITAL ASSISTANT SKILLS IN RELEASE 26.10 (26D)

The prepackaged SaaS skills of Oracle Digital Assistant for Fusion Applications (Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM, Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM, and so on) entered maintenance mode in release 25.10 and will be discontinued on November 21, 2026. The 25.10 SaaS skills are the final release, and their underlying machine learning (ML) model platform versions lag behind the current release. Cloning is the only viable option to adopt the latest ML models. For more information, see Lifecycle Phases of Platform Versions. Customers must develop migration plans to transition to AI Agent Studio. For more information, see Fusion Application Skills/Templates for Oracle Digital Assistant Statement of Direction and FAQ.

Scope:

This deprecation applies only to Oracle SaaS skills. The Digital Assistant platform-as-a-service remains unaffected, particularly for active paid subscriptions extending beyond the discontinuation date:

  • SaaS: ODAP4SaaS
    •  B91939 - Hosted Employee
    • B91938 - Hosted Named User
    • B91940 - 1,000 Sessions
  •     PaaS: ODAP4PaaS
    •  B90260 Oracle Digital Assistant Cloud Service under UCM (universal credit)

Post-Deprecation Support:

The existing Digital Assistant skills will function as is if API calls remain unchanged. This is also true for skills that have been configured, extended, or cloned. After November 21, 2026, Oracle Digital Assistant customers assume full responsibility for applying hotfixes to the delivered Oracle SaaS skills. My Oracle Support won’t provide product support beyond this date. Additionally, ongoing support for configured, extended, or cloned Oracle Digital Assistant implementations will be limited because these scenarios fall outside the standard support scope provided by the Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications teams.

ORACLE DIGITAL ASSISTANT PLATFORM RELEASE UPDATE

The Oracle Digital Assistant (ODA) Platform updates end with version 25.10, which focused on SDK enhancements. The next major release is scheduled for 26.10, and this transition will not impact any currently delivered SaaS skills.

DEPRECATED AND NEW BI VIEW OBJECTS IN ORACLE BI CLOUD CONNECTOR

Business Intelligence View Objects (BIVOs) that are deprecated are no longer available for extraction using BI Cloud Connector (BICC).

If you use BICC to extract data from Oracle Fusion Applications Cloud, review the Deprecated and New UI View Objects spreadsheets to identify deprecated, inactive, and new BIVOs so that you can revise your BICC tasks to omit deprecated BIVOs and include new ones as appropriate.

You can use this information to omit deprecated and inactive BIVOs from your BICC tasks and add new ones as appropriate.
