Capture Lot and Serial Numbers with a Streamlined Flow for Mobile Cycle Counting

Welcome to training for Oracle Fusion Inventory Management in Oracle Supply Chain Management Cloud. In this session, we talk about the feature Capture Lot and Serial Numbers with streamlined flow for mobile cycle counting.

Navigate to the mobile cycle count UI. We'll select the cycle count with the open count sequences. Select the subinventory. This displays the locators with open count sequences. We will select the first locator. Upon scanning the item, we are directly navigated to the page where we enter the count quantity.

We enter the count quantity for the item. You can specify the reason. Enter DFF attributes. We will save the count quantity. The item now appears counted.

We will navigate to the other locator with the open count sequences. For this locator, INV-201 is the item which needs to be counted. We will scan the lot. Enter the count quantity corresponding to it.

There is only one lot which is uncounted. Now upon entering the count quantity, the lot appears as counted. You can expand to view the counted lots, which displays the count quantity corresponding to the lot. We will click on Done and navigate to the rest of the locators, which need to be counted.

For this item, there are five serials which need to be counted. So we will perform the count by scanning the serial number. Here, scan the first serial number. Now there are five uncounted serial numbers at this point.

So after clicking on the add serial number button, the serial number appears in the list of counted serial numbers. You can expand to view the serial numbers which have been counted, which display the serial number, and the status corresponding to it is verified.

We scan the next serial number and click on the Add serial number. So the count details are updated. And in the same way, we can go about scanning the rest of the serial numbers in any order.

Upon clicking the add serial number, we see the counted serial number in the list of serial numbers, which have been counted. So with this, there are three serial numbers which have been counted.

And on the card, you will see that these serial numbers appear as verified. There are two serial numbers which have not been counted. When we click on Done, the uncounted serial numbers appear as missing.

So let's view the counted items. We will click on the card to see the serials which have been counted corresponding to that count record. And here we see that all the serial numbers are counted. The ones which weren't counted appear as missing serial numbers. So with this, we can click on Done. And we can now confirm our cycle count. So the cycle count is confirmed.

This concludes our demo. Thank you.
