Change Order Summary Generation
Welcome to the demo of Change Order Summary Generation in Oracle Project Management within Oracle’s Fusion Cloud ERP umbrella.
This feature allows you to create a comprehensive summary of a project change order by leveraging generative AI.
You can generate a concise, AI-powered summary of project change orders, emphasizing financial impact to streamline stakeholder alignment and approvals.
Enable quick decision-making with actionable insights directly in notifications, eliminating the need for application navigation.
You can empower Change Order Owners to highlight key impacts on project phases and deliverables for informed stakeholder decisions.
You can also reduce manual errors, eliminate redundancy, and ensure accurate, high quality insights enhancing efficiency and decision-making.
This demo shows you how Change Order Summary Generation enhances your business.
Here we have a consulting project for Haleon Corporation and there is a request to additionally address requirements identified during the project lifecycle. You will need the Manage Project Changes privilege to create Project Change Orders.
We navigate to the Manage Change Orders page create a new change order.
Add initial details like Name, Project name, description, justification and save the change order. Connor Horton, and Abhignyana Chalamcharla who are key stakeholders have been added as Approver, Reviewer respectively along with Abraham Mason, who is the owner, assessor and implementor of this change order.
A new impact is created to cater to the additional effort for addressing the HR workshops for process improvement. This impact reflects that there has been a change of 17,550 USD in the burdened cost and an increase in the revenue by 24,000 USD.
We generate a summary which should include the details of this Change Order impacts. It also extracts and provides the impacted phases, which are the summary tasks of the impacted tasks and any deliverables associated with it as well.
For the sake of this demonstration, I will be showcasing how this feature would be useful to the approver who may not recall everything about a project on a moment's notice.
The approver receives an email notification which includes the primary change order details along with the summary.
The process has now become easy since the net and total budget changes and key phases affected are directly represented in the notification without possessing the need to navigate to the platform directly. The approver can immediately approve on the go and this is how the summary can make lives easier.
The status of the change order is now approved.
This completes the demo. Thank you.
