Put Away Transaction Using a Mobile Device

This demonstration shows you how you can create a put away transaction using a mobile device. Let's start the demonstration. On the Inventory Management mobile work area, click on the Put Away Goods task.

We first need to select the organization and click on Continue. In case a user only has access to one organization, the organization will be selected automatically. And the user will be taken to the next step. We select the organization from the list and click on Continue button.

We can create a put away transaction by either searching by receipt or by searching by item. In case we search by receipt, then all the items which are available for Put Away in the receipt show up as cards on the page. Let us create a Put Away transaction by searching by receipt for this demo.

Enter the receipt number and click on Continue. We are presented with all the items which are available for put away in the receipt as cards on the page. We can then proceed by either clicking on the card to open the drawer, to enter the Put Away information, or by entering or scanning the item number in the item barcode field on the top of the page. We can also click on put away all button at the bottom, and that will open the drawer for each item in a carousal view.

Click on the item card to open the drawer. Enter the destination subinventory locator and Put Away quantity. Click on Put Away button. Put Away is created.

We can also scan the item barcode or enter item number in the item field to open the drawer. Enter the item number, the drawer opens in case we want to remove the item from list of items to put away, click on More action buttons at the bottom, and then click on Remove from list. The item is removed from the list of items to put away.

Click on Put Away All button at the bottom to open drawer for the remaining lines in carousal view. Enter the destinations subinventory, locator, quantity to put away, and click on Put Away and next button. Enter the destination subinventory, locator, and quantity to put away for line 2 and click on Put Away and Close button. Put Away is created for the two lines. Go back, as there are no more lines in the receipt to put away.
