Record Cycle Counts Using a Redwood Page

In this demonstration, we will explore how to review and enter the count quantity for open cycle count sequences using the Record Cycle Counts Redwood page. To begin, ensure the Redwood page for record cycle counts enabled profile value is set to Yes at the site level. Click Save and Close. Once configured, you can access Record Cycle Counts page available under count tasks in the Inventory Management Work area.

The landing page displays rows containing the cycle count name, description, and the number of pending counts. By default, only cycle counts with pending counts are shown. However, you can switch to view all cycle counts as needed.

Selecting a cycle count will take you to the Record Cycle Counts page. On the Record Cycle Counts page, you can perform actions like review count sequences, process counts, update count details, export count sequences, and add manual count sequences. Additionally, three toggle buttons are available to filter items by serialization. All: this shows both serialized and non-serialized items. Non-serialized: shows only non-serialized items. Serialized: this shows only serialized items.

Review count sequences, use edits on the landing page to quickly update count quantities without navigating to the detailed page. Click the pencil icon to edit the count. Enter the count quantity. And save your changes by clicking the checkmark.

For serial-controlled items with serial control type as one per request, use the Record Count with Details page to enter the count quantity for an individual serial number. Select the record. Click Record Count with Details. Enter the count quantity. Enter the count date. And click Update. Count sequence has been updated.

For serial-controlled item with control type as multiple per request. Navigate to Record Serial Numbers page to manage serial numbers. Select a record. Click Required. In the Record Serial Numbers page, you have multiple options. Add serial, use this action to add serial number that aren't yet recorded in the system.

Mark as recorded. To mark a serial number as recorded, select a record, and click Mark as Recorded. You can also manually check or uncheck the Recorded in Count option by clicking the Edit icon. Select or deselect the recorded in the count checkbox. Click the Save icon to confirm the changes.

Mark as missing. Identify a serial number recorded in the system but missing from the counts. Select a record. Click Mark as Missing. The additional filter options use context filters to view all serials, only recorded serials, missing serials, or newly added serial numbers. Close the page.

Process counts. After reviewing the counts, select the desired records. And click the Process Counts button to process the sequences for adjustments or approvals. Click Process Counts. Count sequence is submitted. Only records that are selected and have a non-null count quantity will be submitted for processing. To process all records at once, click the Process Counts button. All records with a non-null count quantity will be submitted.

Update count details. Use the Actions button and select Update Count Details. Select one or more records to update fields. From Actions, click Update. Make the necessary changes. And click Update and Close.

Count details updated. Export to interface. Select the desired record. And choose the Export to Interface option from the Actions menu. To transfer the record to the interface for processing via ADFDI or interface routes.

Count sequence exported. Add manual counts. Manually add items to a cycle count using the Add Manual Counts action. Search for and select the desired item. Enter the location details. And provide count information, such as counted quantity. Click Save to complete the manual action. Manual count has been created. This concludes the demonstration. Thank you.
