Manage Pending Transactions Using a Redwood Page

In this demonstration, we will walk through reviewing pending transactions, and either processing or deleting them using a Redwood page. To begin, ensure that the Redwood page for pending transaction's enabled, profile value is set to yes at the site level. Save your changes and close. Once configured, you can access pending transactions via the Inventory Transactions page available under inventory task, in the inventory management work area.

The Inventory Transactions page is a newly unified page designed to simplify access to both pending and completed transactions. Using pending transactions page, you can review, process, and delete pending transactions. There are three toggle buttons to sort items based on their transaction process state. All: this displays both staged and validated transactions. Staged: it displays only staged transactions. Validated: which displays only validated transactions.

Review pending transactions: view transactions that are either waiting for execution or that have encountered errors. For transaction with errors, detailed error message are displayed directly on the landing page. To resolve errors, click the Edit icon under the Actions menu to open the Inventory Transactions Details page.

Make necessary updates and choose one of the following actions. Add to process schedule. Click on Add to Process Schedule to save changes and schedule the transaction for processing. Save and Close. Click on Save and Close to save changes, and close the page for further edits later. Save. Click on Save to save the changes instantly and continue editing. Cancel to exit from the page.

Use the record lot and serial numbers icon to view or edit lot and serial number details. For validated transactions, lot and serial number details is in read-only mode. Process pending transactions, use the Add to Process Schedule button from the landing page or the Inventory Transaction Details page to process transactions that are waiting for execution.

Select a record and click Add to process schedule. You will receive a toast message confirming that transaction has been submitted. Delete pending transactions, remove transactions that are no longer relevant. You can delete individual transactions using the row level delete action. Multiple delete, multiple transactions can be deleted by selecting records and clicking the Delete button on the landing page.
