Use an Improved Experience for Mobile Miscellaneous Transactions
Welcome to training for Oracle Fusion Inventory Management in Oracle Supply Chain Management Cloud. In this demonstration, we talk about the improved experience for mobile miscellaneous transactions.
Select Inventory Management Mobile to navigate to the mobile miscellaneous transactions.
The organization defaults when the user has access to a single accessible organization. We'll choose the transaction type as account issue. Here, you can choose to issue the items either by item or by subinventory. We will perform the issue by item to default the transaction defaults for the source inventory and the locator. We specify the account.
We are performing this transaction for a single line. We scan the item number. This defaults the subinventory and the locator based on the item transaction defaults, or the association of the item to the subinventory and the locator. The project, task, and country of origin fields can be hidden using the business rules. We will scan the lot number. This defaults the lot expiration date, the lot maturity date, and the lot origination date associated to the lot. We'll enter the quantity for the lot.
Notice that the available quantity for the lot defaults below the quantity field. We will now submit the miscellaneous transaction. We get a toast message on processing the miscellaneous transaction for the item. Let's now perform the miscellaneous transaction for multiple items.
We will still choose to perform the issue by item in order to default the source subinventory and the locator. We'll scan the item. This defaults the subinventory and the locator based on the item transaction defaults for the item. We'll scan the lot. Enter the quantity corresponding to the lot. And we'll add the item to the list.
The item card displays the subinventory locator, the lot, and the quantity associated to the item. We'll scan the next item. This defaults the subinventory and the locator associated to this item. The item is the serial controlled item, so we will pick the serial numbers from the list.
The quantity keeps getting incremented as we scan the serial numbers for the item. We'll add the item to the list. The item card displays the subinventory locator and the serial number associated to the item. Let's now scan one of the items which are already added to the list.
This brings up the list of item cards which are associated to the item. You can choose to issue the item from a different location, or you can choose to update an existing item card. We have updated the existing item card. We'll remove it from the list.
Let's now perform the issue for the item cards.
We get a toast message on processing the miscellaneous transactions. This concludes the demo. Thank you for listening.
