User Experience Extensibility
You can now leverage additional extensible and reusable components in the form of fragments, dynamic containers, configurable menus and application navigation components to extend the application to meet specific business requirements.
When extending the application using Visual Builder, these components are available for reuse or extension by selecting from the list as shown below:
The Assisted Buying Cart Checkout flow is now implemented using a Redwood Guided Process flow which can be extended by adding custom steps to support specific business requirements or by modifying the existing dynamic containers.
This feature greatly enhances the extensibility capabilities of the application by leveraging reusable fragments and extensible dynamic containers, and by adding customizable menus, in app navigations, and a configurable guided process flow for checkout. This enables customers to extend the out of the box capabilities to meet specific business requirements.
Steps to Enable
Leverage the Visual Builder Studio to expose your applications. To learn more about extending your application using Visual Builder, visit Oracle Help Center > your apps service area of interest > Books > Configuration and Extension.
