IMPORTANT Actions and Considerations

One-Week Lag Between Readiness Documents Live and Help Center Live

Because Oracle readiness documents (What's New and New Feature Summary) are live one week before the monthly update is applied to Test environments, some links to documentation included in the readiness documents will not work until after the Oracle Help Center update is complete when the monthly update is applied to Test environments.

This update includes Important Actions and Considerations for:

EPM CLOUD PLATFORM

Allow access to static.oracle.com

The Getting Started with EPM Cloud for Administrators Guide is updated to remind customers to allow access to static.oracle.com. For the Oracle Redwood Experience to work, Customers must allow access to static.oracle.com, which it provides image files, JavaScript, and other static content.

Applies to: Account Reconciliation, Enterprise Data Management, Enterprise Profitability and Cost Management, Financial Consolidation and Close, FreeForm, Narrative Reporting, Planning, Planning Modules, Profitability and Cost Management, Tax Reporting

See About Redwood Experience in Getting Started with Oracle Enterprise Performance Management Cloud for Administrators.

ENTERPRISE DATA MANAGEMENT

Use of IDCS Groups in Enterprise Data Management

Starting with the March (24.03) release, EPM Cloud Access Control recognizes the Identity Cloud Service (IDCS) groups that customers can create in the Oracle Cloud Identity Console. Note that in Enterprise Data Management, IDCS groups cannot be used in the following ways:

  • Granted permissions directly
  • Assigned directly to policies
  • Assigned directly to subscriptions as alternate assignees
  • Assigned directly to views in the Show on Views Page

In order to grant permissions to or assign an IDCS group to a policy, subscription, or view, you must first add the IDCS group to an EPM group in Access Control (see Managing Groups in Administering Access Control for Oracle Enterprise Performance Management Cloud) and then grant permission to or assign that EPM group to the policy, subscription, or view.

These restrictions will be lifted in an upcoming release.

Removal of Non-Redwood Themes and Upgrade to a Redwood Theme

Starting with the June (24.06) release, themes outside of the Redwood experience will no longer be supported in Enterprise Data Management and will be removed from the Appearance page. Environments that are configured to use a non-Redwood theme will be automatically upgraded to a Redwood theme. The following table identifies the upgrade path for each non-Redwood theme:

Old Theme Custom Logo and Background Images New Theme
Dark Blue No Oracle

Sky Blue No Custom Light
