Selected Property Values to Keep During Item Match and Merge

When merging a request item that was matched to an existing node in a viewpoint, you have the option to keep specific property values from either the source node or the target node to determine the final properties of a combined node. These property selections override which properties are merged from the source node based on the node type converter (for registered data sources) or the survivorship rule (for unregistered data sources). The property selections can be different for each merged node and are used in subsequent processes where a node is auto matched and merged.

Business Benefit: When merging a request item to an existing node, the user can choose specific property values to keep for the combined node in the event the default values to be retained based on a node type converter or survivorship rule are not the best values.
