Delegate Request Approvals and Commits While out of Office
Users who are approvers or committers of requests can delegate that responsibility to another user who has similar data access when the original user is out of office. When an approver/committer turns on the Out of Office user preference, they have the option to select a Delegate user who is expected to approve or commit any requests on their behalf. The delegate user should have at least Participant-Read access to the data that they need to approve or commit and Participant-Write data access if the delegate needs to enrich a request during approval. The original user remains invited to any requests they would normally approve or commit to provide visibility to those requests and allow them to take action remotely if necessary.
Business Benefit: Requests that need to be approved or committed can proceed through a governance workflow in a timely manner by involving other users who are available to participate.
