New Optimization Routines for Task Manager, Supplemental Data, and Enterprise Journal Jobs

Task Manager, Supplemental Data Manager, and Enterprise Journals jobs now include additional execution sequencing routines to prevent conflicting batch jobs from running at the same time, ensuring application integrity. While the run time of individual job are not affected, their start times may be delayed due to the optimization sequencing.

Task Manager, Supplemental Data Manager, and Enterprise Journal jobs have been further enhanced:

  • View job details such as parameters, properties, and results on the Job Details dialog box.
  • View job summary statistics on the side panel.
  • Change in the job status from Delayed to Pending. Also, the status of all new jobs will be Pending.

Business Benefit: This feature helps prevent resource conflicts, ensuring predictable system performance for batch jobs. The additional enhancements for the non-consolidation jobs provides improved user experience.
