REST API Enhancements for Incremental Extract and Template Import

The Enterprise Data Management REST API includes additional run time parameters for the following endpoints:

  • Extract a dimension viewpoint
    • From Time and To Time for incremental extracts
  • Import from template file
    • Merge or replace of node type overrides for properties

Business Benefit: Incremental extracts can be executed in an automated fashion using start and end dates specified at run time to provide greater process control.  Node type overrides for properties can be replaced in the target environment during an automated template import to match the configuration of the property in the source environment.
