New Match Types for Integer, Float, and Node Data Type Properties
Matching rules provide additional match types for Integer, Float, and Node data type properties to include in rule criteria. The Between % match type can be used with numeric properties to identify match candidates with a property value that is within (+/-) a specified percentage of a source node's property value. The Equals match type is available for Node data type properties to identify match candidates that have the same property value as the source node. These match types can be used for both matching request items and node deduplication in viewpoints.
Business Benefit: Matching and deduplication processes can identify potential matches that have a common node association or have numeric property values that fall within a particular range based on a percentage. Examples include matching suppliers in the same Region, or deduplicating customers that are close in Age.
