OAuth2 Authentication Type for Cloud EPM Connections

Oracle Cloud EPM connections in Enterprise Data Management provide an optional OAuth authentication type to securely connect to other Enterprise Performance Management environments using the OAuth 2.0 protocol.  Both application and global connections for Cloud EPM applications can be configured with the OAuth authentication type.  OAuth components are set up in Identity Domain Cloud Service, and OAuth 2.0 tokens are configured for each Enterprise Data Management connection.  Integration operations such as imports, exports, and extracts can then use those OAuth 2.0 tokens when transferring data from and to Cloud EPM environments.

Business Benefit: Enterprise Data Management provides a more secure alternative to basic authentication (username and password) when connecting to Cloud EPM environments.
