Export and Import Prevented for Parameters Marked Secure in Other Web Service Provider Connection Types

Parameters that are marked Secure for Other Web Service Provider connection types are no longer exported or imported.

Applies to: Enterprise Profitability and Cost Management, Financial Consolidation and Close, FreeForm, Planning, Tax Reporting

Secure parameters are set while specifying Advanced Options for external connections.

In the example connection definition below for Other Web Service Provider, the parameter and header named SecureParam1 and SecureHeader1 are marked Secure. When this connection is exported, values for SecureParam1 and SecureHeader1 will not be exported. After this connection definition is imported, you'll need to update the correct values for SecureParam1 and SecureHeader1 before using them.

Business Benefit: This change enhances the security of Cloud EPM and is consistent to the passwords defined in the Connections interface, which are already neither exported nor imported.
