Transition to the Use of Strong Ciphers with TLS 1.2

Starting with this update, to enhance connection security, Cloud EPM and Cloud EDM test and production environments will transition to using strong ciphers (over TLS versions 1.2 and 1.3). This transition will take place on September 5, 2025 for both test and production even if your environments are not updated with the 25.09 update because of skipUpdate settings or being on a one-off patch.

For a list of supported ciphers, see Transport Layer Security (TLS) 1.2 and 1.3 for Communication in the Getting Started Guide for Administrators. Oracle does not anticipate any issues with this update. If you'd like to test the latest ciphers and ensure compatibility with your client operating systems, browsers, Oracle Smart View for Office, EPM Automate, EPM Agent, and other software that integrates with Cloud EPM, follow the testing procedure outlined in How to Test with the Latest TLS Ciphers in the Operations Guide.
