Exclude Weekends Option For Blockout Periods and Policy Reminders

Recurring blockout periods and workflow policy reminders offer an option to exclude weekend days from the time duration calculated for those features.  For recurring blockout periods, weekend days will be discounted from the total span of days specified for the period.  For policy reminders, weekend days will be excluded when counting the number of days before a reminder notification is sent.  The Select Weekend Days system setting can be configured by a service administrator to identify which days of the week are considered weekend days for a given organization.

Business Benefit: Excluding weekends for recurring blockout periods ensures each period spans the same number of business days. For workflow policies, excluding weekends prevents reminders from being sent while users are expected to be unavailable and avoids unnecessary escalation of requests.
