Run Viewpoint Extracts in a Request Context

Viewpoint extracts can be run in the context of a selected request that is in the Approve or Commit workflow stage.  The extract output includes the changes in the request applied to the data in the viewpoint.  This output provides a preview of the modified viewpoint data, which can be loaded into a target system to perform a what-if analysis before the request is committed.  Running an extract in a request context is limited to public extracts only and can be executed from either the Applications-Extract screen in the user interface or the REST API.

Business Benefit: Extracts run in a request context provide pro forma versions of enterprise data that can be used to perform an impact analysis of the pending changes on downstream systems.
