Change Management Assistant Enhancements

The Change Management Assistant includes several enhancements that make it easier to create changes, find information, and work with requests conversationally:

  • Welcome message and prompt guidance: A new default welcome message presents example prompts that highlight common tasks and help users get started. Users can also ask the assistant for additional prompt examples, which are context-sensitive based on the viewpoint selected in the open view and reflect relevant node types and properties.
  • Model After across related viewpoints: Users can now ask the assistant to model after a node in the current viewpoint and its related viewpoints. Previously, Model After was limited to nodes within the current viewpoint only.
  • Rename nodes: Users can rename nodes conversationally using natural language.
  • Improved string searches: When an Equals search on a string property returns no results, the assistant can fall back to a Contains search. When users ask for items that "start with" a value, the assistant guides them to use the supported Contains operator.
  • Request item context in comments: Comments on request items now include the item name, making it easier to identify and discuss changes in requests containing multiple items.

Business Benefit:  These enhancements make the Change Management Assistant easier and more efficient to use for common change management activities. Users can get started more quickly with relevant prompt examples and context-sensitive guidance, make consistent changes across related viewpoints with less effort, rename nodes conversationally, find information more successfully when search terminology does not exactly match supported operators, and more easily review and collaborate on multi-item requests.
