Break Glass Functionality Now Available

In April 2026, Oracle will introduce Oracle Break Glass for Enterprise Performance Management Cloud Service (B112331) as a new subscription option for Cloud EPM environments. Break Glass provides Oracle Managed Access (OMA), which requires customer approval before Oracle operators can access environments, and Bring Your Own Key (BYOK), which allows customers to use their own encryption key to protect their data.

Customers can subscribe to Break Glass when ordering EPM Enterprise subscription or add it later to an existing subscription.

Business Benefit:  The Break Glass SKU strengthens data governance by giving customers direct control over operator access and data encryption. By requiring explicit approval for Oracle operator access and using their own encryption keys, customers can enhance security, meet compliance requirements, and align cloud operations with internal access and key-management policies.
