Perform Ad Hoc Analysis on Imported Reports

You can now open Reports in ad hoc analysis mode after importing them to analyze their content using various ad hoc operations offered by Oracle Smart View for Office (Mac and Browser).

Using the new Analyze option in the Reports ribbon, you can now perform ad hoc analysis on Reports data. After you import a report, select a grid cell or a chart object. Then in the Reports ribbon, click Analyze. The data in the report opens as an ad hoc grid in a new sheet tab in the same worksheet. You can use the provider ad hoc ribbon to perform ad hoc analysis operations on the ad hoc grid.

Business Benefit: The new Analyze option enables you to open reports data in an ad hoc grid and perform ad hoc analysis operations offered by Smart View (Mac and Browser).
