New Go Button in Transaction Matching Search

Transaction Matching’s transaction search User Interface now contains a Go button. Users can update one or more filter changes and then select Go to start the search using the specified criteria.

In the configuration settings, Transaction Matching includes two new settings for Transaction Search:

  • Apply Filter - Service Administrators can use this setting to control how transaction search is performed. Possible values for this setting are as follows:
    • Auto – Search is performed immediately each time the value of a filter.
    • Manual – Search is performed when the user selects Go. This is the default setting.
  • User Specified – Allows users to choose their preferred search behavior. On the Transactions tab, users can select Apply Filter (Auto) under the Actions menu to switch between auto or manual refresh.

Business Benefit: This feature improves the performance of Transaction Matching search. Additional benefits include the following:

  • Service Administrators can exercise centralized control over how transaction search is performed (automatically or manually). They can also decide whether users can choose their own transaction search refresh settings.
  • When the Service Administrator permits, users can specify when transaction search results must be refreshed. This provides users the flexibility to use the refresh settings that are appropriate for their business requirements.
For example, users can choose manual refresh when the number of transactions is high and auto refresh otherwise.
