Gen AI Enhanced Column and Dimension-Based Support for the Compare Use Case
Two new enhancements have been introduced to provide greater flexibility when defining comparisons in grids. You can now perform comparisons based on specified columns as well as on columns associated with a selected dimension. This allows comparisons between any two columns, regardless of their position or relationship within the grid.
The comparison based on specified columns allows comparisons between any two columns, regardless of their position or relationship within the grid. This supports comparisons across different column types, including:
- Data vs. Data
- Data vs. Formula
- Formula vs. Formula
For comparing two data columns for a specified dimension, comparisons can now be applied across a selected dimension such as Scenario, Year, and Version, instead of being limited to Period. Comparisons can also be configured independently of where the conditional text is displayed.
