Support for User and Substitution Variables in Dashboards 2.0
In Dashboards 2.0, when you create Master Detail dashboards, the Apply Context option now supports context-sensitive User and Substitution Variables. When you select a data row in the master form and select the Apply Context option, data for the selected member will be automatically updated in all the detail forms and charts based on the variable. User Variables must have the Use Context variable option enabled, and can be used on Rows, Columns and Pages. Substitution Variables can only be used on Pages.
Applies to: Enterprise Profitability and Cost Management, Financial Consolidation and Close, FreeForm, Planning, Tax Reporting
Business Benefit: The ability to use User and Substitution Variables provides more flexibility for updating data in detail forms and charts.
