GTAS Balances Inquiry

The GTAS Balances page allows users to view results from the GTAS Accumulation process. Users can review the results for accuracy before submitting the GTAS bulk file to the U.S. Department of Treasury. This enables the users to make any necessary adjustments and re-run the GTAS Accumulation process, if any inconsistencies are identified.

The Governmentwide Treasury Account Symbol Adjusted Trial Balance System (GTAS) is the primary means of reporting agency trial balance data, including proprietary financial reporting information and information about budget execution, to the Department of the Treasury.

Fiscal Service uses that information to meet its requirements from the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) and to compile the Financial Report of the US Government.
