Access Request Assistant Enables Users to Request Roles

The Access Request Assistant uses AI to help any user quickly request access to ERP roles and to security contexts defined in Manage Data Access for Users (MDA). It eliminates the need to remember role names and MDA security-context values. After creating the request, the AI agent initiates the Advanced Access Request workflow, which performs deep separation-of-duties analysis.

Built on Oracle's AI Agent framework and powered by large language models (LLMs), the agent understands natural-language queries and responds with accurate, secure information based on each user's role and privileges.

The Access Request Assistant leverages a role-mapping document that maps your organization's personas to relevant roles and security contexts. With it, you can:

  • Get a list of roles users can request for a certain business process, business unit, or location. (This is dependent on the personas defined in your organization's role-mapping document.)
  • Request access to a particular persona.
  • Get a deep link to access requests.

The Access Request Assistant is aware of the details for the user who's logged in, and uses them in the access-request input. The Assistant also has validation to check if an existing request is in the process of being reviewed, and if so, displays an appropriate message.

Business Benefit

Employees can leverage the Access Request Assistant to request access without having to remember specific role names or MDA security context values.

Access Requirements

The agents you can view depend on the roles and privileges assigned to you. To access this agent, your role must be explicitly granted access to it by an AI Studio Administrator.
