Retirement Request Assistant
The Retirement Request Assistant streamlines the asset retirement process by providing a simplified way for asset custodians to submit and track asset retirement requests through a guided conversational experience.
Asset custodians can raise retirement requests in two ways.
Retire My Assets
Asset Custodians can start by typing “Retire my assets” from the assistant. to view and select assets assigned to them for retirement, or they can submit requests for assets that are not assigned to them by providing one of the identifiers like Serial Number, Tag Number, and Description. After selecting the assets, asset custodians can enter additional retirement details including Retirement Date, along with optional information such as Retirement Reason and Comments, before submitting.
Note :Once submitted, the request is processed by user through the Fixed Asset Retirement Assistant,, who reviews the request, updates the details if needed, and posts the retirement transaction.

The Retirement Request Assistant also enables asset custodians to view and track their recent retirement requests, including request ID, submission date, asset details, retirement date, and current status such as Pending, Posted, or Rejected.

Tips and considerations
- AI Agents and Applications page displays AI agents delivered by Financials. However, you can interact with the Retirement Request Assistant only if your job role grants access to it .
- The Retirement Request Assistant does not require data access to any asset book because the agent only raises a request to retire an asset.
- When raising a retirement request for an asset, make sure to enter all required details and submit the request. If you leave before submitting, the retirement request assistant will not save the information, and you will need to start the process again.
- Natural language conversation is English-only in this phase.
- For the best user experience, manually resize the assistant window to full screen.
- Enter Help in the assistant to access the help screen and view user guidance.
