Additional accounting sources for non-project labor costs
Derive accounting segments for non-project labor costs using additional worker assignment attributes. Labor Distribution provides additional worker assignment attributes for use in Subledger Accounting rules for non-project labor costs. These attributes support derivation of the natural account and other accounting segments.
Available attributes include assignment category, assignment location, worker type, position, job, worker category, people group, and worker assignment descriptive flexfield attributes. The attributes are available for the Labor Cost, Labor Cost Adjustment, and Non-Project Labor Cost event classes.
The business benefits are:
-
Increase consistency in accounting derivation policies across project and non-project labor costs.
-
Improve the accuracy of natural account derivation by incorporating additional worker assignment information.
