Version Compatibility for Application Data Services

As of now, first-time subscription is allowed if version of glossary in Data Foundation for the application is same or lower than the version of the application. However, with this release, for upgrades, if version of glossary in Data Foundation for the application is same or lower than the version of the application, then application can subscribe to the latest Application Connectors in Data Foundation. In other cases, the application will continue to use the current compatible version of connectors. Though, the application cannot subscribe to upgrade/override related changes to these connectors.

Key Benefits:

Upgrade subscribing applications independently, reducing dependency with Data Foundation, hence minimizing disruption.
