Derived Expressions on Transformed Columns

Enhance Oracle AFCS Ingest Connectors to support derived expressions that reference transformed columns from External Data Descriptors (EDD) and Derived Business Terms from Catalog lookup. The enhancement extends the Derived Column UI, expression builder, validation, and execution engine to enable creation and evaluation of complex derived columns during data ingestion into the staging area.

Enables advanced data transformations during ingestion, promotes reuse of existing transformation logic and business terms, improves data quality and consistency, reduces manual preprocessing, simplifies connector configuration, and accelerates onboarding of complex data sources while maintaining scalable performance.
