GL Exchange Rates to AFCS
AFCS now supports sourcing foreign exchange (FX) rates directly from Oracle ERP General Ledger (GL), in addition to the existing file-based ingestion method. FX rates extracted from ERP GL are automatically mapped to the AFCS data model and made available to downstream AFCS processes, including Netting, Revaluation, and other modules that consume exchange rates. This enables organizations to use ERP GL as the centralized source of FX rates while preserving existing AFCS processing behavior.
Organizations can use Oracle ERP General Ledger as the single source of truth for foreign exchange (FX) rates, eliminating redundant integrations and improving consistency across Oracle financial applications. By automatically making ERP GL exchange rates available to AFCS processes such as Netting and Revaluation through the existing processing framework, this feature reduces operational effort, streamlines FX rate management, and supports scalable enterprise deployments without disrupting established business processes.
