Page management and step-specific workspaces

Work Management’s Pages let teams create a purpose-built workspace for a workflow step. A page has a title and type, can contain sections, widgets, and views, and can be associated with a workflow step to give users the right information and tools for the task at hand.

Pages shape the user experience at each point in the case lifecycle. Rather than presenting the same information at every stage, a page can focus the user on the data, evidence, and actions relevant to the current task, such as investigation, review, approval, or closure. This makes page design an important part of usability, control design, and analyst adoption.

  • Create pages, edit titles, add sections, configure section headers, and order sections.
  • Place views and widgets in a layout that supports investigation or review work.
  • Associate a page with a workflow step so the workspace changes with the case lifecycle.

Steps to enable and configure

  • Create the page, define its title and type, and add the required sections.
  • Add and arrange the appropriate views and widgets.
  • Save the page and connect it to the corresponding workflow step.
  • Validate layout, data visibility, and user actions with representative cases before publication.

Tips and considerations

  • Design a page around a user task rather than every available field.
  • Keep high-value evidence and required actions visible at the point of decision.
