Redwood Experience for Correct Employment Details Process

Enrich the user experience with the new Correct Employment Details process developed using the Redwood tool set. The steps in the process are built from the ground up using Visual Builder Studio (VBS) to give you a unique experience of Oracle applications.

This page is accessible only from the Redwood View Employment Details page. The Redwood View Employment Details page can be accessed from the Redwood Employment Info page; hence you need to enable the profile option for the Employment Info page. All validations applicable for the responsive pages apply to the Redwood page as well.

Correct Employment Details process

Here are some key points about this process:

  • The new process is accessible from the Employment Info > View Employment Details > Correct button only.

  • The new Redwood process is launched if you're launching it from the Redwood Employment Info page. There is no separate profile option to enable the new page.

  • Contextual journeys aren't applicable for this process.

  • Correction of records when multiple changes exist on a single day isn't available yet.

  • If you have configured approval rules in the Transaction Console for the responsive Correct Employment Details process, the same will be applicable for the Redwood process as well.

  • In Redwood pages, the Include for Automatic conversion attribute is moved from Correct Employment Details process to the Work Relationship process.

The new process offers a fewer number of clicks and better performance. You can take advantage of the cohesiveness through the application with the new process.

Steps to Enable

To use the Redwood Correct Employment Details process, you need to enable the following profile options at the site level.

To enable the profile options, navigate to the Setup and Maintenance work area:

  1. Search for and click the Manage Administrator Profile Values task.
  2. Search for and select each of the profile options listed in the table.
  3. Select the Level as Site.
  4. In the Profile Value field, enter the applicable value.
  5. Click Save and Close.

Access Requirements

Access to the new Redwood Correct Employment Details process is controlled using the same security privileges that control access to the responsive Correcting Employment Details page.

If your user doesn’t have access to a step in the process, that step isn’t displayed on the Info to include step.
