One of your ideas has been delivered from your suggestion.Redwood Experience for Add Assignment Process

You can now add an assignment or temporary assignment for the people you manage by using the Redwood Add Assignment process. Line managers and HR Specialists can access the process from My Teams and My Client Groups tabs respectively.

You can default the new assignment as temporary or permanent using the Default Add Assignment to Temporary Enabled (ORA_PER_EMPL_ADD_ASG_DFLT_TEMP_ENABLED) profile option. The default value is Yes, which means the new assignment will be temporary.

You can copy assignment data from the source assignment using the profile option Copy Data from Source Assignment While Adding a New Assignment Enabled (ORA_PER_EMPL_ADD_ASG_COPY_FRM_SRC_ENABLED). The default value is Yes, which means data will be copied from the source assignment.
