Redwood Experience for Employee Performance Page

You can now leverage the employee Performance page that lists the performance documents and check-ins created for an employee. This page has been recreated in the Redwood toolset Visual Builder Studio (VB Studio) to provide an enriched user experience.

Users with access can also create anytime performance documents and check-ins for the employee. They can add an anytime document if eligible for an anytime document in the selected review period.

You can view information about the performance documents based on the configuration and perform actions according to your security and the document or task status.

Print Options for the Document

This feature provides users the ability to access all the performance documents for an employee they have access to in a single page.

Steps to Enable

The Redwood employee Performance and manager Evaluate Performance pages are enabled using the same profile option. Navigation from these pages to performance documents, managing participant feedback for performance documents and check-ins will take you to Redwood pages. However, you should also enable the Redwood Performance Documents and Goals profile option to ensure navigation to these pages from links in notifications are also displayed in Redwood pages.

If you haven't enabled the profile option for the Redwood performance document page, you need to enable the profile options as indicated in the table.

Tips And Considerations

  • As Performance Documents and Participant Feedback, Check-in, and Goals Center are closely connected, in Redwood you can enable or disable these pages using the common ORA_HRA_PERFORMANCE_DOCUMENTS_AND_GOALS_REDWOOD_ENABLED profile option. These features can't be enabled individually.
  • Based on the role, the navigation to use to access the employee Performance page is as follows:
    • Employees: Me > Career and Performance.
    • Managers: Evaluate Performance page.
    • All users can use the Performance quick action for employees in the global search.
  • If an employee has multiple assignments, you can switch between them by selecting another business title to see the performance documents and check-in associated with a specific assignment.
  • When an employee is requested for participant feedback on another employee’s performance documents they're now displayed under Feedback requests about others in the Redwood Feedback page.
