Enhanced Absence Type Default Logic

You can now configure the absence type to choose how the default absence type is displayed during absence entry and absence bid entry pages. There is now a new option called Absence Type Default in the Additional Attributes section of the Configure Absence Batch Parameters page.

You can select from four different options which are as follow:

Option	Application Behavior
Most Used	The most used absence type will be the default. The display order will then follow the entry display order sequence defined on the absence type if it’s defined. Or else they are listed alphabetically if no entry display order is defined on the absence type.
Last Absence	The last used absence type will be the default.
Display Order	The absence type with the lowest number as defined in the Entry Display Order option on the absence type setup page will be the default.
None	There will be no default absence type.

You don't need to do anything to enable this feature.

The display order feature works only in VBCS pages and not in Responsive pages.
