Streamlined Configuration for Career Ambassadors
Administrators can now enable the Career Ambassadors feature using a new profile option, ORA_HRD_CAREER_AMBASSADORS_ENABLED. This is used to display career ambassador suggestions in Skills Center and on the career details page. It also enables employees to sign up to be career ambassadors in Connections.
If you're already using Career Development, your existing configuration from the Offerings feature in Setup and Maintenance is carried over to this profile option.
If you're opting into Career Development with this upgrade, you need to enable this profile option to use Career Ambassadors.
Here's how you can enable it:
- Go to the Setup and Maintenance work area.
- Search for the Manage Administrator Profile Values task and select it.
- Search for the ORA_HRD_CAREER_AMBASSADORS_ENABLED profile option and select it.
- Set the profile level as Site.
- Set the profile value to Yes.
- Click Save and Close.
This feature streamlines the configuration of the Career Ambassadors feature across Career Development, Skills Center, and Connections.
Steps to Enable
You don't need to do anything to enable this feature.
