Changes Only Extracts Process Diagnostics Report

Use the new Changes Only modes in the diagnostics report to debug incremental extract changes. The report uses the two modes - Previous Extract Run and Object Extracted But Not Expected to generate the current status of the data, compares it with the baseline data from previous runs, and identifies anything new and modifications.

 To submit a Changes Only Diagnostics process for an extract instance: 

  1. Click Navigator > Tools > Scheduled Processes.
  2. On the Scheduled Processes Overview page, click Schedule New Process.
  3. Leave the type as Job, search and select the Extracts Process Diagnostics Report process, and click OK.
  4. In the Process Details dialog box, under the Basic Options section, select: 
    • Scope of the process as Changes Only Diagnostics
    • Scope value as extract instance name
    • Mode category as one of the following: 
      • Previous Extract Run: It is used for basic Changes Only extracts with parameter CHANGES_ONLY = Y 
      • Object Extracted But Not Expected: It is used for advanced Changes Only extracts with parameter CHANGES_ONLY= ATTRIBUTE, ATTRIB_OLD, BLOCK_OLD, or BLOCK
    • Attribute as Object Action
    • Values as Object Action ID number
    • Screen capture of the Changes Only Extracts Diagnostics Process with its Basic Options parameters
  5. Define the schedule, output, and notifications for the process set, as you’d do for any scheduled process.
  6. Set any other options and click Submit.
  7. Copy the process ID from the confirmation message and click OK.
  8. Search for the process ID and click its record in the Search Results section.
  9. Click the attachment link in the Process Details tab to view and download the changes only diagnostics files.

Steps to Enable

You don't need to do anything to enable this feature.
