Enhanced Computation of Users with Large Access Control Lists for Oracle Search
You can now identify users with large ACLs using a new ESS process, Compute Users with Large ACL. This lets you schedule computation of Oracle Search Access Control Lists separately for users with large ACLs.
Using this new process, you can compute users with large ACLs in isolation. More users can have a better search experience using Oracle Search using this enhancement.
Steps to Enable
- From Tools > Scheduled Processes, search and select for Compute Users with Large ACL.
- In the Action menu, select Compute.
- In the User Population menu, select All Users with Large ACL.
- Schedule the process to run everyday.
Tips And Considerations
- The ESS process might take time to complete all computations.
- It's recommended that you schedule and run this process once every day.
- This job is not a replacement for other ACL related jobs.
