Related Skills and Qualifications
You can now add skills or qualifications to courses and specializations that make the learning discoverable during browsing and searching, but that won't update a learner's talent profile after they complete the learning. The Skills filter on the catalog search page now includes courses and specializations configured with a Skills Center skill, even if that skill isn't configured to update the learner's talent profile when completed. The Outcomes filter was renamed to Qualifications, and includes courses and specializations configured with competencies, certifications, languages, or any other talent profile content type that isn't a Skills Center skill.

The catalog details page now indicates whether the skills or qualifications covered by the course or specialization update the learner's talent profile. All skills or qualifications defined for the learning appear in the new Skills and Qualifications this learning covers section of the details page. The subsequent section lists the outcomes, which are the skills and qualifications that update the learner's talent profile after they complete the learning.

Recommendations generated for current role gaps, careers of interest gaps, skills I'm developing, and manager-assigned skills now include the courses and specializations configured with a related skill or qualification, as well as an outcome skill or qualification.

Administrators have a new Redwood experience for creating and managing the outcomes and prerequisites on courses and specializations. Add skills and qualifications on a single tab as instead of separate tabs for outcomes and prerequisites. At the top of the page is the skills river, which automatically suggests skills based on the learning title. If the suggestion is appropriate, you can add it as a covers skill by clicking the + icon on the chip. You can also add skills or qualifications using the Add menu button. By default they're added as a related skill or qualification, and you can choose to define them as an outcome that updates a learner's talent profiles after completion.

Administrators now manage the skills and qualifications directly from the Definition tab, under Skills and Qualifications, by clicking the Manage link. You no longer need to edit the learning and go to the Outcomes or Prerequisites tab. If you can't edit the course or specialization, you won't be able to edit its skills or qualifications but can still view them.

This feature can make it easier for learners and managers to find relevant training by adding more Skills and Qualifications to Learning Outcomes, even if they aren't meant to be added to a learner's talent profile after completion.
