Redwood - Extend Goal Support

You can leverage the extend performance goal actions in your Redwood goal pages. As of this release, the extend performance goal feature is available in the Redwood Goal Center. You can extend goals that are ongoing or weren’t completed in a goal plan.

Encourage regular communication, collaboration, and feedback between employees and managers by extending goals. Extend a goal from the Goal Details page by selecting Extend from the Actions menu.

So, the Redwood version of these pages can all be enabled or disabled only using the common ORA_HRA_PERFORMANCE_DOCUMENTS_AND_GOALS_REDWOOD_ENABLED profile option. These features can't be enabled individually.

For more information about setting profile option values, see the Set Profile Option Values topic in the Implementing Applications guide on Oracle Help Center.

Tips And Considerations

  • Extend the goal across multiple review periods.
  • When you extend a goal to another goal plan, the goal is associated with both source and target goal plans. Except for the goal weight and goal priority, any changes to the goal are visible in both the source and target goal plans after you extend the goal. For example, if you couldn't complete a goal before the end date of the source goal plan, you extend the goal to another goal plan to continue working on the goal for an extended duration.
