You can now create or recalculate rate component and salary details using Run Rates-based Salary Process when using the salary basis type of salary determined by rates. Salary structure changes or changes to the worker’s attributes can require salary changes. These tasks can detect such changes to salary and can create or modify the salary records.

You can decide whether to create or modify salary records, process data for a targeted employee, configure the action or reason, review the details before committing, and rollback selectively. Using the review option, you can review potential changes before they are committed, accept or reject any of the changes, and roll back after committing.

Here’s an example where the underlying calculation was updated with a new effective date. The process identifies the affected worker and shows the current and proposed details for the compensation manager to review.

Tips And Considerations
- The process won’t consider offer and pending worker assignments. The process excludes those type of assignments.

To roll back the posted salaries, you need to run the rates-based salary process with the run type that includes waiting for review. Roll back isn’t available when the run type commits proposed changes.
