Business Rules Support for Redwood Document Records Pages

Make use of the business rules framework to personalize your Redwood document record pages based on your requirements. You can use these rules to leverage delivered best practices or create your own rules based on various criteria, such as Document Type and Country.

These Redwood Document Records pages support Business Rules:

  • New Document Record page

  • Document Records landing page which includes:

    • View Document Record page

    • Edit Document Record page

  • Document Records plug in section

These actions are supported for fields on the Redwood Document Records pages:

  • Required or Optional
  • Read Only or Editable

The following attributes are supported as parameters on these pages when writing business rules:

  • User Roles

  • When is the rule applied? - This parameter determines if the rule is applied when the user is looking at their own document record or when the user is looking at others' document record.

  • Country

  • Business Unit

  • Legal Employer

  • Document Type

  • Category

  • Subcategory

  • Tags

You can personalize the user experience for document records by configuring the business rules for specified document type.

Steps to Enable
