Configure Guided Journeys Using Only Standalone Redwood Guided Journey Quick Action

We have simplified the process to create guided journeys by only retaining the Redwood Guided Journey quick action in the Journeys Setup area under the My Client Groups tab. This will be a standalone Redwood quick action and the only way to configure guided journeys. You can no longer configure guided journeys from the Checklist Templates setup page.

Users have a single source to create guided journeys.

Steps to Enable

By default, the ORA_PER_GUIDED_JOURNEYS_SETUP_REDWOOD_ENABLED profile option is enabled or set to Y.

If you want, you can continue to configure guided journeys from the classic Checklist Templates setup page and not use the Redwood Guided Journey quick action. To do this, follow these steps to disable the default profile option value:

  1. Navigate to the Setup and Maintenance work area.

  2. Search for and click the Manage Administrator Profile Values task.

  3. Search for the ORA_PER_GUIDED_JOURNEYS_SETUP_REDWOOD_ENABLED profile option code and select the profile option in the search results.

  4. In the ORA_PER_GUIDED_JOURNEYS_SETUP_REDWOOD_ENABLED: Profile Values area, enter N in the Profile Value field.

  5. Click Save and Close.

  6. Click Done.

Tips And Considerations

You need to disable the default profile option value to continue to configure guided journeys from the classic Checklist Templates setup page.

If you are using the predefined roles, no action is necessary. However, if you are using custom versions of these roles, you must add these aggregate privileges to your custom roles to use this feature.
