Configure Visibility of Goal Flexfields

From this release, you can configure business rules to selectively hide descriptive flexfields for performance goals or development goals. For example, your organization might want a descriptive flexfield to be shown only for development goals and not for performance goals.

Here are the steps to hide a descriptive flexfield for performance goals.

  1. Edit the New Goal or performance goal details page in Visual Builder Studio.

  2. Select a project.

  3. Click Configure Fields and Regions.

  4. Add or edit a Regular form rule and give a suitable name and description.

  5. Ensure that the rule is active.

  6. In the Regions and Fields section, expand Goal Details.

  7. Expand the performanceGoalsV2 resource.

  8. Locate the descriptive flexfield that you want to hide and set the Hidden property for the context value and the descriptive flexfield to Hidden.

  9. Preview changes and publish.

These features can't be enabled individually.

For more information about setting profile option values, see the Set Profile Option Values topic in the Implementing Applications guide on Oracle Help Center.

Before you can start working with Visual Builder Studio to extend your Redwood applications, a systems administrator must complete some initial setup. For instructions, see Set Up VB Studio to Extend Oracle Cloud Applications.
