Oracle Recruiting Integration in Redwood Position Pages

Oracle Recruiting is now integrated in the Redwood position pages:

  • You can now create an Oracle Recruiting requisition in all the position pages such as create, update, correct, and duplicate position. You can also create an Oracle Recruiting requisition in the Request a New Position and Request a Position Change guided processes.
  • You can also view all the Oracle Recruiting requisitions currently open for a position in the Requisitions section of the read-only page in Positions.

Create an Oracle Recruiting Requisition for a New Position

Go to My Client Groups > Show More > Workforce Structures > Positions. On the Positions search page, click +Add. On the New Position page, fill in the data and scroll down the page. In the Requisition Details section, select the Create a Job Requisition for this Position checkbox.

The Requisition Details section opens. Fill in the data and click Submit.

Similarly, you can create a new requisition while duplicating a position.

Create an Oracle Recruiting Requisition for an Existing Position

You can also create a new requisition while updating or correcting a position. Open the position record that you want to update or correct. In the Requisition Details section, select the Create a Job Requisition for this Position checkbox. Enter the required data and click Submit

In the edit flows such as update or correct position, you can’t see the existing requisitions. You can only create a new requisition from these flows. To see the existing requisitions, go to the view position page. 

Note: Date effectivity doesn’t apply to requisitions. If you create a requisition while updating a position, then the date effectivity of the position record won’t apply to the requisition.

Create a Requisition in the Request a New Position and Request a Position Change Guided Processes 

We have also added the Requisition details step in the Request a New Position and Request a Position Change guided processes. In the Info to include step of these processes, you can enable the Requisition details step to create a new Oracle Recruiting requisition.

On the Requisition details page, enter the details for a new job requisition and click Submit. A new job requisition will be created.

View an Existing Oracle Recruiting Requisition in the Read-only Page in Positions

To view an existing Oracle Recruiting requisition for a position, open the read-only page for the position. You can see the requisition added in the Requisitions section.

If you click the link for the requisition, you will be taken to the New Job Requisition guided process if you have the required security privileges. 

Note: As soon as you complete filling the requisition form, that requisition will disappear from the Requisitions section, and you can now see the person in the Incumbents section of the read-only position page.

This feature enables you to create job requisitions from within the create and edit flows in the Redwood position pages and guided processes.
