Automatically Map Retroactive Elements to Results Element

You can now use the feature upgrade flow for retroactive elements to automatically modify the retroactive component setup for existing elements created through the element template. This upgrade removes the mapping of the retroactive elements with the base element and maps the retroactive elements to the results elements.

Upgrade Retroactive Component Setup for Elements in India Payroll Flow

Run the feature upgrade flow using one of the options for updating existing elements.

  1. Navigate to My Client Groups > Payroll > Submit a Flow and select the Run Feature Upgrade payroll flow
  2. In the Feature, select the Upgrade the Retroactive Component Setup for Elements in India Payroll.
  3. In the Optional Parameters, select a Process Configuration Group.
  4. In the Additional Information field, select the type of mode to run the flow and click Submit.
  • Use DRAFT mode to list all the retroactive elements that will be updated when you run this flow.
  • Use FINAL mode to modify the setup for a single element and verify the update process. Enter ‘FINAL|’ followed by the base element name. 
    Example: ‘FINAL|Basic’ where Basic is the base element name created from the earnings template.
  • Use FINAL mode to modify the setup for all elements created with the Retro active setup enabled. 
    Example: ‘FINAL|All’ 
     

This upgrade enables compliance with statutory requirements.
