Redwood Experience: Create a Candidate

Take advantage of the Redwood Create Candidate action to create candidate profiles that has been recreated in the Redwood tool set called Visual Builder Studio (VBS). The Create Candidate action is now available on all candidate lists: prospects, candidate pool members, candidate search, and event audience.

When you create candidates in a prospect or event context, candidates are automatically invited to apply to the job requisition or register for the event. When you create candidates in the candidate pool context, candidates are automatically added to the candidate pool.

The Create Candidate action has been enhanced to allow users to add the candidate to up to 10 areas, for example other requisitions, pools, and events.

Tips And Considerations

You can personalize the Create Candidate action using business rules. For more information, refer to the Extending HCM Redwood Applications Using Visual Builder Studio guide.

The name fields that appear are based on the Universal name style configured in the Manage Person Name Styles task.

The candidate's preferred language and time zone are defaulted to the logged in user's Fusion language and regional preferences settings.

Access Requirements

Users need the Create or Update Candidate (IRC_CREATE_OR_UPDATE_CANDIDATE) privilege to create a candidate.
