Automatic Numbering for HCM Communicate Campaigns

You now have a choice for generating campaign numbers for communicate campaigns. Decide whether you want to continue manually entering a campaign number or if you want the application to automatically generate one.

Easily create a campaign with automatic numbering.

Steps to Enable

Here’s how the campaign administrator configures automatic numbering:

  1. In the Setup and Maintenance work area, search for:
    • Functional Area: Employee Communications
    • Offering: HCM Communicate
    • Task: Manage Campaign Information
  2. Select either manual or automatic.
  3. Enter a starting value if you want the automatic numbering process to start from a specific number.

Tips And Considerations

For existing users, the automatic numbering is disabled by default. For new users, the automatic numbering is enabled by default.

If you choose the manual numbering method, you can enter a starting value, but the application won’t use this number.
